The OBA is truly a statewide organization with its headquarters located in Portland, Ore. The OBA support network reaches local communities through three chapters located in Albany, Ashland and Bend.
Chapter leadership is drawn from a local pool of volunteers committed to advancing bioscience in Oregon via the OBA mission and goals. Chapters are well represented at the OBA board level, and each chapter runs educational programs and networking activities according to the needs of its community. In addition, the OBA uses the group buying power to provide member benefit programs for its corporate members statewide.
